O minhocão, the river I see every day





The "minhocão" is a highway that crosses São Paulo's downtown connecting the west to the old city center. I always lived near it, so it was hard to notice how peculiar and "beautifull" is this urban phenomena...

Every sunday the minhocão is closed and only pedestrians and cyclists are allowed to pass by. Retired people, middle aged runners, children and homelesses add a lyrical and melancholical tone to this place...
